Boats/RV

We also provide services for RVs, and boats.  We are very familiar with the differences between the hard shell clear coat on an automobile, and soft gel coat on fiberglass.  Most detail shops treat the two in similar manner assuming they are much the same.  This is a common mistake made, and should be avoided at all costs.  Gel coat exteriors are a completely different ball game.  Gel coat is much softer, and should not be buffed using products provided for automobiles.  Most gel coats cannot handle compounds, or even glazes used on cars, or trucks.  Misuse of a product on something as sensitive as gel coat...can leave you with a very sad looking exterior.  It's not as simple as just applying wax, and taking it off.  Here, we use gel coat specific products.  We finish off all of our fiberglass finishes with a marine sealant.  Marine sealant will protect gel coat like no other product out there.  We know these tricks...and we use them to our advantage!  Don't bother with settling for someone who is going to give you a quick hand wax.  Trust me, you will not be happy, and he probably won't have a shoulder left, haha.  Bring it to us!
